Console

Songs of Glimmerwick has no official cheat mode or list of cheat codes. Pressing Home opens a debug console (the key moved there in a demo update in spring 2026), and the only command the developer Eastshade Studios has described is HideUI, which hides the HUD for screenshots. If you want the game easier, use the built-in assist options instead.

How do you open the console?

Press Home. A console bar appears; press Home again to close it. Players sometimes open it by accident while typing, for example pressing Shift+Home to select a name.

What commands work?

CommandWhat it does
HideUI + EnterHides all HUD elements, for screenshots and trailers

The developer said they used HideUI for trailer shots and wasn't sure there's a command to bring the HUD back. One player guessed ShowUI, and the developer replied they might have made one after all, but nobody confirmed it works. Save before trying HideUI, and reload if your HUD doesn't come back.

No money, item or time-skip commands have been published. Lists you find elsewhere aren't from the developer, so treat them with caution and save first.

How do you make the game easier instead?

  • Potion Mastery Help in the options lowers the score you need in potion practice by 20% per step, up to Double Extra (40% of the normal target). See High Quality Potion of Sturdiness for how scores turn into quality.
  • Music practice: every song scroll has a practice mode you can open by clicking it; see Flutes and Songs.
